Deep Fried Lion’s Mane Mushroom

250g Lions mane

100g Flour

50g Starch (maize, rice, etc.)

200g of Water

Salt
Step 1

In a large bowl, mix your flour, starch, water and salt. Then, Toss mushrooms and 3 Tbsp. oil in a large bowl to coat. Grill, turning occasionally with tongs, until lightly charred, 2–6 minutes (depending on size and type). Return to bowl; season with salt.

Step 2

Add your mushrooms to your heated up oil and deep fry until lightly browned, 5–8 minutes (depending on size and type). Return to bowl; season with salt and garnish with herbs if you like. Gently toss to combine and enjoy.
